Arequipa is located at a height of 2325 m in the Desert Mountains of the Andes. This beautiful city is practically totally built out of sillar, a kind of white volcanic stone. This is why Arequipa is called the white city. With its one million inhabitants, Arequipa is the second biggest city of Peru. The main square, the Plaza de Armas is the most beautiful of the country. The magnificent "Catedrál" and the shopping malls are in colonial style. It is the city with the eternal spring.

Whole day trip into the attraction area of Arequipa and surronding we start the city tour including Santa Catalina Convent, the Plaza de Armas, the Jesuit church of La Compañía and its beautifully-painted chapel, the Church of San Francisco, San Lazaro's district, Selva Alegre and the typical districts of Cayma and Yanahuara for a magnificent view of the Misti Volcano. Return to the hotel.

After the breakfast transfer to the airport. 

Tour 2 – Colca Canyon

1.-Day
Whole day trip into the attraction area of Arequipa and surronding we start the city tour including Santa Catalina Convent, the Plaza de Armas, the Jesuit church of La Compañía and its beautifully-painted chapel, the Church of San Francisco, San Lazaro's district, Selva Alegre and the typical districts of Cayma and Yanahuara for a magnificent view of the Misti Volcano. 2.-Day
Departure by minivan for the Colca Canyon. On the way you will see vicunas, llamas and alpacas in the National Reserve at Pampa Canahuas (4,500 mts). We stop for Lunch . Arrival in Chivay and accommodation at Colca Lodge or similar. Dinner

3.-Day
Breakfast at the lodge. Drive down the valley and on the way you will see the beautiful Inca terraces. From the Cruz del Condor you can get a fine view of the condors flying above and below you , as well as of the depth of the canyon. Further down the valley at Cabanaconde , you will see the villages on the opposite side, which seem to be clinging to the very walls of the canyon. Return to the lodge for lunch. Afternoon return to Arequipa via Patapampa and the viewpoint of the volcanoes. Arrival in Arequipa and Transfer to your htl

4.-Day
After the breakfast transfer to the Airport for your flight to Lima o Cuzco.
